I've bought about 50 putters over my last 3 years of playing disc golf multiple times a week. (I'm an average, par-level disc golfer.) Some have been OK (Luna, Reko, Keystone), some have been petty good (Zone, Mercy, Crown, Shield) but most have been 'meh.' Innova, Gateway, MVP, etc., I've bought 'em all and tried 'em all and now they all sit in a box in my garage, to be loaned to friends or maybe sold on Ebay. But one day, passing through Bowling Green, KY, I stopped at Disc Crazy, and they've an indoor putting basket. I tried a Jackrabbit, which I thought I'd like. Nope. Couldn't hit the basket. I tried a few others I thought I'd like. Nothing was clicking. Then the clerk said "Try this," and he handed me a EV-7 Phi. Ching. It went in. Ching. Ching. Ching. It kept going in. I bought it and went and played a round with it and made so many more putts than I usually do. It's now 3 months later, and that's still my experience. (I've also tried EV-7's Telos, and it's okay, 'maybe a better thrower than the Phi, but for putting, for me, nothing has proven better than a Phi.) I now have one in every plastic and they're all great. Soft isn't as quite soft as Westside soft, and hard isn't quite as hard as Westside hard. 5 stars for sure.
