Axiom's Description:

The Fission Time-Lapse! Combining MVP’s most advanced plastic technology with Simon's first driver is a potent combination, and now you can experience the results. Fission plastic allows for the Time-Lapse to be molded in much lighter weights while bringing the increased level of GYRO® that only Fission can bring. The result is a gyroscopically enhanced Time-Lapse that can be thrown by a wider variety of arm speeds. However, Fission can be more difficult to get up to speed for lower power players.

A good rule of thumb is that Fission, especially in drivers, adds an extra 10g to perceived weight - making a 165g driver fly like you'd expect a 175g one to, only with added distance from being a lighter disc. This leads to lighter Fission discs maintaining the stability of their heavier counterparts, so consider trying out a lighter disc than you might normally. For veterans with power, you’ll find the Fission Time-Lapse to be a bomber - just a touch more turn to get that extra bit of distance, with the same dependable fade. Experience a whole new level of the Time-Lapse with the Fission Time-Lapse!

Axiom's Overmold Technology:

The Overmold technology adds weight to the outside of the rim to increase rotational inertia. For more information please visit Axiom's website.

Great Disc

The original version in Neutron was way too much disc for me, but the Fission is perfect. It's 25 ft longer than my Trace on the same type of throws off the tee. I'm 67 and if I can throw it well, so can you. (I throw 99% forehand)

Overstable to the rescue

I bought the lightest weight I thought I could throw effectively. It has proven to be a good flex shot disc in tight quarters and throwing it hard and low with a ton spin I get nice predictable skip. Overall a good disc to have in my bag

Fission time lapse

Not as glidey as i had expected. Still get more glide and distance out of my strive. And the strive is just a touch less stable. For reference inthrow the strive about 320. The time lapse about 310. The time lapse is still brand new.
