Kastaplast's Description:

RIGHT, LEFT OR STRAIGHT… THE LOTS LEADS THE WAY THROUGH THOSE TRICKY AND NARROW PASSAGES THAT YOU WILL FACE ON YOUR WAY TOWARDS THE BASKET. THIS DISC IS DESIGNED AS A STRAIGHT FLYING, HIGHLY WORKABLE, FAIRWAY DRIVER.

Lots in Swedish is a pilot that leads a ship through difficult waters and narrow passages, so that it will arrive safely to its harbor. In water, as well as at the disc golf course, a Lots is a predictable line-holder.

I love the Lots, and was excited when I saw they were releasing it in K1 Hard. I bag a PFN Lots, bubblegum pink, because it’s more firm than newer runs and a tick more stable.

I thought this was going to be truly firm, akin to Proton or something similar. In reality, it feels almost the same as regular K1. Maybe a tad more stiff around the rim, but otherwise barely a difference.

Truthfully it isn’t even as stiff as my older PFN Lots, but thankfully it does have a similar bit of more fade.

So, if you want a similar hand-feel with a bit more fade, you’ll love it. If you were wanting something noticeably more firm, unfortunately I would look elsewhere.

Great Disc - Not Quite As Firm As Expected

I love the LOTS. It's been my go-to straight fairway driver ever since I first tried it. I was able to get a few PFN LOTS that I've always felt were more stiff/firm than the K1 plastic that's been produced the past few years, which I love.

With the backstory out of the way, I was expecting the K1 Hard to be even more firm than my old school LOTS. I had imagined something similar to Proton plastic, but K1 Hard isn't nearly as firm as that. It's a touch more firm than my newer K1 LOTS, especially around the rim, but it's equally as firm as my older LOTS.

With that said, having thrown it around a fair bit now, I will say it's noticeably more stable than my newer LOTS. Not "beefy" by any stretch, it's still a straight shooter like you want, but it does offer a more pronounced fade at the end.

Hand feel was a bit disappointing, which I'll admit was probably me not having the right expectations, but I do love the flight versus your regular K1. If you're looking for almost identical hand feel but a touch more stability, give it a shot. If you are looking for considerably more firmness, look elsewhere.
