Axiom Discs' Description:

Tenacity is Axiom's understable bomber from the new high-speed 23mm distance class.  Average and developing throwers will find a highly usable straight-with-fade driver in the Tenacity, while expert throwers will need to call upon that expertise to adjust hyzer angle and shot height.  With proper form the Tenacity easily qualifies as "sneaky long".  Tenacity is best compared to a worn MVP Catalyst, and features the familiar evenly domed top to promote distance-covering glide.

Axiom Discs' Overmold Technology:

The Overmold technology adds weight to the outside of the rim to increase rotational inertia. For more information please visit Axiom's website.

Interesting flight.

For a larger wing DD, it’s surprisingly comfy in (my) hand. I first played this disc in the East on a few hybrid courses. Which I love! Definitely not a headwind DD. But light and variable winds, and tailwind drives this disc can mash! Like most big wing drives it is sorta sensitive on release angle. I mostly threw slight hyzer flips. At 1000’ elevation it was holding the hyzer for the first portion of the flight, then going flat, dead straight, and having a late subtle turn, but always finished back left in a pushing manner. It flew very consistently for me in this manner. It was very cool watching such a late turn, but still having low speed stability kick in. I wasn’t getting any super crazy distances but it was consistent to 4-420’s for me. Here in Utah at 4500’ish feet, like all discs at altitude, it still exhibits those aforementioned characteristics, just muted some. And, it’s definitely more finicky on release ( nose ) angles. All in all I like it, not a first string disc in my bag, but it’s definitely on the team… I have noticed her in northern Utah, when I put full power to it, she flips and never comes back.

Fills a gap.

I usually carry 2 waves but lost one recently to the water gods. The one I lost was the more stable of the two and since no one has any new Waves in stock, I had to scramble. The lighter weight tenacity feels a lot like a heavier wave and has earned the spot in my bag.

Tenacious D (isc)

The diameter of this disc is smaller than I usually like in a distance driver. You'll notice I gave it five stars though. Ever find the exception to the rule that's better than the rules allow? This disc stays in my bag. Why I think it's awesome: Its perfect for a long drive in the woods. Its smaller size makes it weave through trees better. The shot shapes are really easy to control for a 13 speed. For me, it just feels made for long drives that call for creative lines through obstacles. It's little, agile, and quick.
