Westside Discs' Description:
When the wind is up and you need an overstable approach disc, look no futher than the Anvil. The Anvil has good speed for a midrange with even more overstability than the Bard. If turning isn't an option, reach for the Anvil.
Picked this anvil up to replace a lost a2. I have had an anvil before and liked it but this one has a little too much dome to it and is not as overstable as my previous one. Perfectly good disc just not what I was looking for as a forehand approach disc. I already have a disc that fills this slot otherwise it feels good and flies nicely.
3 men in my club were all using this disc so I thought I’d pick one up to give it a try. It’s great for approach shots with obstacles. I love it forehand and backhand.
Great disc for FH or BH approaches. Nailed it got my order here 5 days quicker than Infinite Discs. Checking here first for my disc needs
This is a disc that I have been missing in my bag for way too long. The VIP plastic is the same familiar feel: a little soft, slightly tacky, and releases from the hand nice and clean. There is no bead on this disc, which also helps me to release it cleanly, and there is a mild dome to it. The numbers are spot on; It does not have much glide, and it's got a good healthy fade at the end. It is not effected by the wind, it will not get pushed around, and it will fade at the end. Great utility mid. If you live in an area with a lot of wind, or even just to use for those upshots were you cannot miss long definitely look into one. Great disc!
