Note: Cosmic Neutron and Neutron are Speed: 2 Glide: 5 Turn: 0 Fade: 1
I was on the fence about pilots. I had proxies and envies as my approach discs. then... enter the neutron pilot. it does everything an envy and proxy did for me (slight change in release angles and this thing just goooooooes)
the glide is something needs to be adjusted for. it seems like it stays in the air forever. I had to dial back my power a bit to stop overshooting my target. once I got that problem solved... oooooh buddy my life has been made easier because of the versatility of this plastic and mold. I still use ions to putt, but everything else gets electron med and neutron looks from 280 and in.
even if you are set on your current putter this is a fantastic approach disc that may or may not remove your midranges. either way, you should at least give it a go ( I mean... sooooo much gliiiide)
My discs were packed well and shipped super quick I will definitely use them again!!
I am falling in love with the Pilot it is a great disc and love the nailed it stamp on it.
I really like the pilot. It kicked the ion out of my bag for putting duties. I love the feel in my hand. It’s not as deep as an ion but a little deeper feel than an atom. The micro bead is a good touch. If you don’t like beads this one is small enough, and wears out easily enough that you won’t notice it for long. If you like a beaded putter, it’s there but by the time you really get acquainted with it you may have practiced your bead off... the grip from electron plastic is amazing. Even with wet/snowy/sweaty hands it has a great grip, almost more so then if the disc is cold and dry. I love this disc. Now if only they made it in premium plastic, I’d drop my throwing putters and bag just this for driving, up shots, and putting.
