Axiom's Overmold Technology:
I will be the first to admit, I was skeptical of the proxy. I had tried one at 174 neutron. it flew well but not as far as I would have thought. sold it swore it off. fast forward a year, I decided to try it once more, but in a lighter weight. it was definately the lighter weight that made all the difference for me.
in terms of flight the 171 neutron I have will just go straight with a slight hyzer release. no fade just straight then drop. more hyzer on the release and it will fade like an envy. thrown on an anny it will hold that line to the ground. it is such a neutral putter, that it will help you develop good form. I highly recommend this putter in any of the 3 currently available blends.
Review is for a 169g Plasma Proxy. This is an excellent putt/upshot disc for when you absolutely need them to go straight. This is the straightest flying putter I've ever use. If you need to power up a bit, a slight hyzer release angle will flip it up to flat for the flight, with minimal to no fade at all. Let go flat it will turn a little when thrown with power. Great for tunnel shots, or other shots you simply need to end straight. It's not my favorite plastic to putt with, but it is very comfortable in the hand so if you like putting with premium plastics it might be for you. Very shallow depth, smooth rim. Very easy to throw, highly recommend! And always amazing service from Nailed It!
