Westside Discs' Description:

Our most popular high speed driver, the Westside King is our fastest disc for all levels of players. The farthest flying disc in our line the King is designed to allow the average player to experience a long distance flight. It has a good grip and a nice high dome. It traps the air and rides on it like you have never seen before. For professional players the King will be your longest flying disc and roller in your bag. For lower speed arms this will finally give you that full flight you always wanted on the course. The King comes in VIP, VIP Air, and Tournament plastics.

Driver heaven

For starters, I found a Westside king in San Diego at an average 9 basket course. It had a phone number on it, so I called and returned the disc to the gentleman.

It was his desire to get that disc back that made me start using them. I have purchased around 5 of these now. I've lost three but have two left.

I probably use this disc the most, besides my putter.

The flight pattern helps me throw a good flex shot. I have no business throwing a 14 speed disc, but this one works for my slower arm speed.

I just know I have to have one in my bag.

Westside King- a little touchy

I like the King overall, but I will say that it is a touchy disc. Any amount of headwind at all and the thing will flip and not come back. If you hit it just right it goes forever.

Love the King

The King is the perfect driver for me.  I don’t have huge arm speed or a super long thrower, but the Kings numbers are deceiving. When I throw it flat, it will have a slight fade, then the turn kicks in.  It’s not a hard dumping turn like a destroyer, but a slow fade getting extra distance.  Great for no wind or tail wind.
